We source our materials from reputable manufacturers whom we have assured ourselves check their sources with regard to conflict materials. Our suppliers confirm to us that they do not use materials (tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold) that serve to finance armed conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country.

To the best of our current knowledge, our products therefore do not contain any conflict materials. As a distributor we cannot provide a guarantee in this regard, but we consider ourselves obliged to be sensitive to this issue and to seek assurances from our suppliers wherever possible.

Beyond the requirements of the Dodd-Frank Act, E.WAGENER also reviews the applicability of the European Regulation (EU) 2017/821 on conflict minerals. This regulation applies independently of the Dodd-Frank Act and sets out its own due diligence obligations, which E.WAGENER reviews and fulfils where it applies to tantalum and tungsten based on import constellations and thresholds.
